Autumn is perfect for planting, so we planted an apple tree for my grandmother, a symbol of her presence. We cherish misty mornings, northern lights, and warm coffee brewed over the wood stove.

We’re concerned about "hussvamp" fungus in the foundation, which can consume the house. In restoring it for the next 100 years, we’re clearing out organic material—a reminder of our place in time.

While Elin’s in Norway, I surprise her by painting the garden furniture, making applesauce, and baking an apple pie with our own apples. At night we search for mushrooms and go for a bicycle ride with some old bikes.

Hey look there’s a garden underneath all the junk!

Wow, they're ugly. Maybe some paint will make them look better?

It’s finally gone, the fur hedge. Elins is very happy!

Actually quite happy how this turned out. Went from ugly to kinda nice?

Wow it’s been cold lately. Trying to make the house a little less… cold?

We now have five chairs and a table all in different colours!?

Giving youtube a go. Some gardening. Also Elin tricked me into removing the plastic carpets covering the floors. HEY!
